There are references to Fiano by name that go back to the 13th century and refer to vineyard purchases by Emperor Frederick II. The growth of Fiano vineyards in Puglia has really only been during the last 20 years or so. Cerignola is in the province of Foggia, situated near the centre of the “Table of Apulias”. Once constituting a sea bottom, this flat land is bounded and protected by the Daunian pre-Apennines hills. Thanks to his particular conditions vines have always been grown in this region. The name Posta Piana refers to a district near the town of Cerignola where Cantine Paradiso is based.
