Pol Roger Brut Réserve NV

Established in 1849, Pol Roger remains proudly independent and family-owned still to this day. Although Pol Roger is one of the smaller houses in Aÿ France, they are highly well-known for their quality and elegance. With ownership of 87 hectares of vineyards, their cellars are some of the coolest and deepest cellars within the region, which contributes to slow maturation of Champagne and persistent bubbles which is a unique selling point of all their champagnes.   Pol Roger Brut NV is the first Champagne from the Pol Roger brand, blended from 30 base wines drawn from at least two vintages, and the three varieties of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier blended in equal portions. Giving the Champagne its freshness, elegance, body and depth.  On the nose, it offers aromas of white flowers, brioche and a trace of minerality. On the palate notes of stone fruits, a hint of honey and nuts are driven which carefully balance the freshness of the acidity.
