Established by John Parker in 1985 on the rich terra rossa soils of Coonawarra, Parker Estate is currently run by the highly experienced winemaker Darren Rathbone. The microclimate of the southern end of Coonawarra provides an extended ripening period for the grapes, which provides unique qualities in this range of wines.
The Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon displays a rich blackcurrant, mint, olive and earthy flavour in a tight elegant structure with complexity and excellent cellaring potential. A classically styled Cabernet Sauvignon which is traditionally fermented in small parcels and aged in the finest French Oak.
