Marsannay Blanc Bruno Clair 2017 come from many parcels in Marsannay. Amber green in colour with an enticing nose of toasted pastry, light floral fruits and a touch of burnt match stick. Clean and flavourful on the palate revealing plenty of fresh stone fruits, green apple and melted butter. Elegant, precise and long on the finish with a touch of toasted oak and mineral salinity. Bruno Clair produces fantastic wines, with this ‘village’ Marsannay Blanc 2017 showing really well. A great value White Burgundy too!
We also have Bruno Clair’s fantastic Marsannay Rouge available.
Bruno Clair started his own domain in 1979. Today the family-run estate exclusively farm 25 hectares holdings in Marsannay, Fixin, Morey and Savigny. Adopting minimal intervention winemaking and a mixture of large wooden foudres and smaller oak barriques (rarely going above 20% New oak, even for Grand Crus) Bruno Clair is able to produce elegant, powerful wine’s that that reflect the terroir. More well known for his red, Bruno Clair produces a small-quantity of equally appealing whites.
