Margaux Private Reserve Schröder & Schÿler 2021

A fine, entry level Margaux made from a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc from the famous vineyards of Château Kirwan. With 12 months ageing in 2 year old French oak barrels, this shows a deep red in hue with a fruity bouquet of blackcurrant and blackberry with a subtle hint of graphite. Velvety and well-rounded on the palate with a pleasant, persistent finish. A classic Margaux that will pair well with red meats or cheese.
