Launched to replace the Brut Premier, Louis Roederer Collection 241 is crafted using a blend of 17% oak-aged reserve wines from 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, with an additional 34% wine from a Perpetual Reserve, and 49% of the finest grapes harvested in 2016. Collection 241 opens with a striking balance between youthfulness and maturity showing pure red fruited characters from the Pinot Noir grapes harvested from the Montagne de Reims, as well as combining yellow fruits and toasted brioche. Smooth and complex on the palate with mingling flavours of pear, green apple, red cherry and blackberry fruits, complimented by lingering creaminess on the finish. Louis Roederer Collection 241 exudes both richness and power, with freshness and verve, a brilliant new release from one of the most esteemed houses in Champagne.
