The Krug Champagne house was established in 1843 by founder Joseph Krug. They are based primarily in Reims, the main city in France’s Champagne region. Since establishment, Krug has specialised in producing prestigious and specialised Champagnes in small oak casks. Known to many as the most majestic non-vintage Champagne available, Krug Grande Cuvée is blended from 10 different vintages, 47 wines from 25 different villages and ages for five to seven years before release. This non-vintage Cuvée classic is dominated by aromas including honey, hazelnut, marzipan, gingerbread, citrus, almonds and brioche.
