Joseph Perrier Cuvée Royale Brut Vintage 2012 is a fantastic new release from our dear friends Joseph Perrier. Sporting a classy new label design, the Cuvée Royale Brut Vintage 2012 is made from of a blend of 54% Pinot Noir and 46% Chardonnay sourced from Premier and Grand Cru vines. The intense growing season offered fantastic fruit, allowing for a wine of great purity and precision. Bright golden amber in hue with persistent, fine mousse. Aromas of freshly baked pastry’s reminiscent of home-baking jump out of the glass, followed by spice and pepper notes. The palate is gentle with a sweet sharpness and elegance that with time makes way to complex flavours of camomille, dried apricots and dates. The finish is delicate, with a long, mineral finish. A very versatile Vintage Champagne that will pair well with a range of dishes, such as scallops, pan-fried duck or simply savoured on it’s own. Joseph Perrier Cuvée Royale Brut Vintage 2012 is an exceptional release that will only improve with time.
“What a pleasure to find so much finesse and freshness in this 2012 vintage. An extremely precise wine!” – Benjamin Fourmon on the release of Joseph Perrier Cuvée Royale 2012.
