Court Garden Ditchling White is an intriguing blend Pinot Gris and Ortega with a dash of Chardonnay added into the mix. You don’t see many English wines with this blend, in fact this might be the first we’ve seen. If this is the blueprint though, it won’t be the last. Medium bodied with clean zesty grapefruit and a touch of vanilla. Perfect with lightly spiced food.
“First impressions are of an intense, aromatic, crisp, crunchy green fruited white full of brightness, limey zest, green Granny Smith apples, a touch of white peach and expressive, yellow grapefruit citrus depth. The longer it sits in the glass, the more it broadens and fleshes out. Beautiful clarity, crystalline purity, and impressive underlying stony, chalky minerality… Delicious.”- Greg Sherwood MW
