Pinot Noir is the pillar of the Champagne Bollinger style, and the House has forged its reputation by showcasing this variety. The PN cuvée aims to prolong the heritage and the legendary style Bollinger is renowned for. Bollinger PN VZ16 edition is the second interpretation from the new collection. Each year will see a new addition to the PN collection, exploring the House’s various terroirs in a different way.
Following on from the inaugural PN VZ15, this edition opens with fruity notes of apple, rhubarb, quince and mirabelle plum developing into hazelnut aromas. The palate is wonderfully creamy with exotic flavours, brioche and hints of stewed fruit, and a saline finish. Bollinger PN VZ16 is simply delightful and a Champagne worthy of any special occasion!
“Very pale pink. Wonderfully pure Pinot Noir character on the nose. Very fine bead indeed. Tight in texture yet playful in flavour. A worthy successor to the 2015.” – 17.5 Pts, Jancis Robinson (November 2021)
